 | The English Bulldog is small in stature but wide and compact with thick large heads. The muzzle is short and pug. The coat may be in many colors including fawn, white, black, brindle, and red and white. The bulldogs walk is a waddle because the legs are stocky and set at each corner of the body. Bulldogs are good family dogs known for their courage and their excellent guarding abilities. Human attention is needed for Bulldog happiness. They need little exercise or grooming except for the face which should be wiped with a damp cloth in the folds for cleanliness. They weigh from 45 to 55 lbs. and stand 12 to 16 inches at the shoulder. |
